1 Scope
This Standard specifies terms and definitions, requirements, test methods and marking of passenger car tyres.
This Standard is applicable to new pneumatic tyres of passenger cars.

For the purpose of this document, terms and definitions defined in GB/T 6326 apply.
4 Requirements
4.1 Specification, load index, ply rating, measuring rim, load capability, inflation pressure and permitted rim of the tyre
It should be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 2978.
4.2 Peripheral dimension of new tyres
It shall be in accordance with those specified in Appendix A.
4.3 Corresponding relationship between the traveling speed and inflation pressure/load
It should be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 2978.
4.4 Corresponding relationship between speed symbol and maximum traveling speed of the tyre
It shall be in accordance with those specified in Appendix B.
4.5 Corresponding relationship between load index and load capability of the tyre
It shall be in accordance with those specified in Appendix C.
