1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 10001 specifies the public information graphical symbols for use on sign related to tourism and entertainment (hereinafter referred to as graphical symbols).
This Part is applicable to such public places as hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions as well as transport vehicles and service facilities, to the design of guiding elements including position signs, guide signs, plane sketches, area functional diagrams and street block guide maps used in the public information guidance systems specifically, and to the publication and other information carriers for which the graphical signs are greater than 10 mm×10 mm in dimensions.
