1 Scope
This standard specifies testing methods for complete machine and components of passenger lift and freight lift.
This standard is applicable to such electrically-driven traction passenger lifts and freight lifts with rated speed no larger than 6.0m/s as well as those electrically-driven positive passenger lifts and freight lifts with rated speed no larger than 0.63m/s. And the electrically-driven traction passenger lifts and freight lifts with rated speed larger than 6.0m/s may refer to this standard, and the inapplicable part shall be determined by the manufacturer and the user through negotiation.
This standard is not applicable to the hydraulic lifts, dumbwaiter lifts and home lifts.
