1 Scope
This part of GB/T 11828 specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of the ultrasonic stage gauge.
This part is applicable to the ultrasonic stage gauge for measuring the stage of rivers, lakes, reservoirs, channels and other water bodies.

instrument for measuring the stage by measuring the propagation time utilizing the principle that ultrasonic waves reflect when encountering medium interfaces with different densities
