1 Subject Contents and Application Scope
This standard is applicable to inspect the multi-axial strain capacity of seamless gas cylinder and specifies the method to determine the flattening deformation capacity of seamless gas cylinder.
This standard is applicable to the seamless gas cylinder (hereinafter referred to as "gas cylinder") with nominal working pressure not greater than 30MPa and nominal volume not greater than 80L.
2 Requirements for Tested Gas Cylinder
2.1 The tested gas cylinder shall meet the requirements of corresponding national standards. Tested gas cylinder shall be subject to quality inspection on internal and external surfaces, shall be free from any defect affecting strength like dent, scratch, crack, fold, double skin and inclusion, shall be free from foreign matters like oil stain and paint on its surface, and shall ensure unblocked cylinder opening.
