This standard specifies the types, parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, coating, packing, transport and storage of special steel cylinders for compressed natural gas filling station (hereinafter referred to as steel cylinders).
This standard is applicable to steel cylinders whose nominal working pressure in design and manufacturing is 25 MPa (the pressure in this standard refers to gauge pressure), nominal volume 50~200 L, and design temperature ≤60℃.
The steel cylinders manufactured according to this standard are only allowed to be filled with natural gas which complies with "Compressed Natural Gas as Vehicle Fuel" (GB 18047-2000).
