3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28202—2020 apply.
4 Classification
By product application, they are classified as:
a) Bookcases (racks);
b) Filing cabinets (racks);
c) Periodical cabinets (racks);
d) Drawing cabinets;
e) Newspaper racks.
5 Requirements
5.1 Appearance requirements
The appearance requirements of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.
Table 1 — Appearance requirements
5.2 Main dimensions and dimensional deviations
The main dimensions and dimensional deviations of the product shall comply with the requirements of Table 2. Special specification dimensions shall be agreed upon between the supplier and the purchaser and clearly stated in the contract.
Table 2 — Main dimensions and dimensional deviations
6 Test methods
6.1 Appearance measurement
6.1.1 Wood-destroying insects
Adopt the method of naked-eye observation, and carefully check whether there are live insects or eggs, or insect-pest powder inside the wooden material.
6.1.2 Decolourization and colour fading
On the external surface or internal decorative parts of the product, respectively select 3 positions, hold a degreased cotton cloth moistened with clean water by hand, apply moderate force, and rub back and forth 3 times at each position, with a reciprocating distance of 200 mm to 300 mm per rub. Observe whether there is colour from the decorative part on the cotton cloth.
6.1.3 Other appearance inspection items
Under natural light or an illuminance of 300 lx to 600 lx of near-natural light (for example, 40 W daylight lamps), with a viewing distance of 700 mm to 1000 mm, 3 persons shall jointly inspect, and the inspection result shall be concluded by the majority.
6.2 Measurement of main dimensions and dimensional deviations
The test piece shall be placed on a flat plate or flat ground, and measured with a steel ruler or tape measure with an accuracy not lower than Grade II. The dimensional deviation is the difference between the marked value of the product and the measured value.
6.3 Measurement of form and position tolerances
6.3.1 Warpage
Adopt a warpage measuring instrument with an accuracy not lower than 0.1 mm. Select the board with the most severe warpage, place the instrument on the diagonal of the board, and take the maximum distance as the warpage measured value.
