1 Scope
This document specifies the typing, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation and storage of potassium hydroxide for industrial use.
This document is applicable to potassium hydroxide for industrial use.
Note: This product is primarily used in industries such as chemical, battery, pharmaceutical, light industry, dye, textile, and metallurgy. It serves as a raw material for chemical production, alkaline storage batteries, pharmaceutical intermediates, potassium soap, cosmetics (such as cold cream, vanishing cream, and shampoo), vat dyes, artificial fibers and polyester fibers, metallurgical heating agents, leather de-greasing, and other applications.
