This standard specifies the classification and marking, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transport and storage of glass fiber reinforced plastics mortar pipes (hereinafter referred to as FRPM pipes).
This standard is applicable to FRPM pipes used in such pipeworks as water supply and drainage, water conservancy and field irrigation for underground and above ground, with 100 ~4000 mm nominal diameter, 0.1 ~2.5MPa pressure grade, 1250~10000 N/m2 ring stiffness grade; the maximum temperature of medium is less than or equal to 50℃.
Non-motar FRP pipes as well as FRPM pipes with nominal diameter, pressure grade and ring stiffness grade beyond the range specified in this standard may also refer to this.
