This standard specifies the minimum requirement of projectdesign, construction, management of external corrosion control for steel pipeline (hereinafter referred to as pipeline) . Economical and rational corrosion control solutions shall be determined by optimized designs based on active adoption of new process, material, structure and technology, and endeavored absorption of domestic and international recent scientific and technological achievements.
This standard is applicable to external corrosion control for onshore newly-built, extended and rebuilt pipelines, which transmits oil, gas or water under 100℃. Pipelines transmitting other meida or oil, gas or water higher than 100℃ may also refer to this Standard.
