This Part of GB/T 223 specifies determination of lead content with carrier precipitation-xylenol orange spectrophotometric method.
This Part is applicable to determination of a lead content between 0.0005 % (mass fraction) and 0.25% (mass fraction) in carbon steel, alloy steel, high temperature alloy and precision alloy.
