1 Scope
This standard specifies electromagnetic compatibility requirements and methods of measurement of audio video apparatus on board
This standard is applicable to audio video apparatus on board for various kind of motor vehicle.
Note: This standard is applicable to audio or video function of multimedia apparatus on board. For equipment that do not have audio and video as their main function (such as GPS navigation system with DVD playing function), they are only available for their audio and video functions.

4.1 General requirements of measurement
Each audio and video function of a multifunction device shall be tested.
Note: It is recommended that, as each function is tested, attention shall be paid to the effect that certain sensitive ancillary apparatus may have on the test results.
