Electrical equipment safety - Risk assessment and risk reduction - Part 2: Risk analysis and risk evaluation English
1 Scope
1.1 This part specifies the guiding principles and implementation methods for the relevant risk analysis and assessment of electrical equipment carried out in accordance with GB/T 22696.1-2008. Risk analysis includes the identification of restrictions and hazard and its methods.
1.2 The intended users of this part are designers, technicians or safety standard experts regarding the integration of safety into the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance or improvement of electrical equipment.
1.3 This part applies not only to safety risk assessment in the design stage and during manufacturing and trial operation process, but also to safety risk assessment in the process of retrofitting or improving electrical equipment or to assessment of existing electrical equipment, as well as risk assessment in any case e.g. unexpected incident or fault.
