GB/T 22696.5-2011 Electrical equipment safety - Risk assessment and risk reduction - Part 5: Method and example for risk assessment and reduction (English Version)
1 Scope
1.1 This part specifies the implementation guidelines for risk assessment of electrical equipment according to GB/T 22696.1~22696.4, which are applicable to the specific operation methods and tools used across each process and step of risk assessment, and gives the corresponding examples.
1.2 The intended users of this part are designers, technicians or safety standard experts engaging in the integration of safety into the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance or improvement of electrical equipment.
1.3 This part applies not only to safety risk assessment in the design stage and during manufacturing and trial operation process, but also to safety risk assessment in the process of retrofitting or improving electrical equipment or to assessment of existing electrical equipment. In the case that no risk assessment provision is available in the relevant product standards or the manufacturer decides not to use the relevant standards, this part can provide guidance for the product manufacturers in product design.
