This standard replaces GB/T 22756-2008 Leather Sandals with the following major changes: ——In Scope, long sandal is added while limitation for leather sandals (including long sandals) for infants and children is given; ——Chapter 3 "Terms and Definitions" is added; ——In Chapter 4, classification by manufacturing process is added (see 4.4); ——In General Requirements, after-sale quality judgment is added (see 5.1); ——In 5.2, content of sensory quality is modified; ——The requirements concerning odor are added (see 5.3) and the odor test method is added in Test Methods (see 6.2); ——In 5.4.1, requirement for flexing resistance index of finished shoes and test exemption conditions are modified; ——In 5.4.3, requirement for peeling strength index and test exemption conditions are modified; ——Requirement for abrasion resistance property of heel (see 5.4.11) and corresponding test method (see 6.13) are added; ——In 5.4.5, the requirements for formed sole heel hardness index are modified; in 6.7, the test method for formed sole heel hardness is modified; ——In 5.4.8, shank property requirements and test exemption conditions are modified; ——In 5.4.10, indexes of color fastness to rubbing of lining and insock are modified; ——In 6.6, test method for pullout strength of upper strap is modified; ——In 6.8, test method for adhesive strength between outsole and outside midsole is modified; ——In Chapter 7, test items and result judgment are modified; ——In Chapter 8, the test rules, marking and packaging, transportation and storage are modified to subject to QB/T 1187; ——In Annex A, contents of after-sale quality judgment are modified; ——In Annex B, list of harmful aromatic amines is modified. Leather Sandals 1 Scope This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, test rules, packing, transportation and storage of leather sandals with upper made from natural leather, artificial leather, synthetic leather, textiles or multiple materials, manufactured by processes of gluing, sewing, mould pressing, vulcanizing, injection molding, grouting, etc. This standard is applicable to leather sandals (including long sandals) for adults, and not applicable to leather sandals (including long sandals) for infants and children. Sandals with upper made from other materials and manufactured by the equivalent processes may also refer to the provisions of this standard. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. Items 1~5 and severe defects in Note 1 are the primary ones, Items 6~10 are secondary ones.
