Cabinets for Low-voltage Switchgear — Part 2: Series of Dimensions
1 Scope
This part specifies the basic information of module selection, module sequence and cabinet examples and matching dimensions of cabinets for low-voltage switchgear.
Note: In general, dimensions refer to basic parameters rather than tolerances or clearances used in manufacturing.
This part is applicable to cabinets for low-voltage switchgear.

3 Basic Information of Module Selection
3.1 General
The reason for choosing module of cabinets for low-voltage switchgear is that it shall be compatible with the dimensions of mechanical interfaces for related engineering applications (such as components, equipment, rooms, buildings, etc.). In addition, information on interfaces with other technical fields and advanced processes and designs is included. Technical and economic benefits can be gained from using this rule.
