1 Scope
This standard specifies determination methods for melamine in food simulants.
This standard is applicable to the determination of melamine in four food simulants: water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and olive oil.
Determination lower limit of melamine in three aqueous food simulants, water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution is 5.00 mg/L, and determination lower limit of melamine in olive oil is 4.00 mg/kg.
