1 Scope
This Standard specifies a method for the determination of Bisphenol A in the food simulants.
This Standard is applicable to the determination of Bisphenol A in the food simulants, e.g. water, 3 % (w/v) acetic acid aqueous, 10 % (v/v) ethanol aqueous solution and rectified olive oil.
The minimum level of the quantitative determination of Bisphenol A in water, 3 % (w/v) acetic acid aqueous and 10 % (v/v) ethanol aqueous solution is 0.03 mg/L, The minimum level of the quantitative determination of Bisphenol A in rectified olive oil is 0.3 mg/L.
