Floor socket-outlets for household and similar purposes
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, main technical parameters, technical requirements, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transport and storage of floor socket-outlets for household and similar purposes, and describes the test methods for such socket-outlets.
This document is applicable to floor socket-outlets for household and similar purposes used indoors (hereinafter referred to as floor socket-outlets).
This document is not applicable to floor socket-outlets used in industrial places.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2099.1-2021, GB/T 17466.23 and the following apply.

floor socket-outlet
socket-outlet installed on the ground, floor or overhead floor for connection with fixed wiring and data lines
Note 1: A floor socket-outlet consists of function modules and an enclosure.
Note 2: See Figure 1 for examples of floor socket-outlets.

module used to realize electrical connection, data transmission and other functions in a floor socket-outlet
Note 1: Electrical connection includes power supply connection, USB charging connection, etc.
Note 2: Data transmission includes transmission of network signal, audio-visual signal, Wi-Fi signal and so on.
3.3
locking device of bounce floor socket-outlets
mechanism that keeps the cover open or closed in bounce floor socket-outlets, usually including a spring bolt, a moving plate and a spring
Note 1: See Figure 2 for an example of locking device.
Note 2: The locking device is also called "opening mechanism".

4 Classification and main technical parameters
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 The floor socket-outlets may be classified into the followings by the materials exposed to the ground in the closed state after installation:
Metal floor socket-outlets;
Note 1: For example, copper alloy, aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, stainless steel, etc.
——Plastic floor socket-outlets;
——Material-mixed floor socket-outlets;
Note 2: For example, the floor socket-outlets whose exposed parts include both metal parts and plastic parts.
——Floor socket-outlets made of other materials.
