1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of humidifier.
This standard is applicable to humidifier for household and similar uses.
This standard is also applicable to humidifier used in public places.
Pay attention that the humidifier applicable to the following condition may in need of additional requirements:
- humidifier used on transport facility (like vehicle, vessel and aircraft, etc.);
- humidifier used on other household and similar electrical appliances.
This standard is not applicable to:
- humidifier specially designed for industrial use;
- humidifier used in special environment frequently generating corrosive and explosive gas (like dust, steam and methane gas);
- humidifier used for medical care purpose.
