Materials declared to be antibacterial and anti-mildew shall comply with the requirements of Table 4.
Table 4 Limit for anti-bacteria and anti-mildew
Item Limit
Antibacterial rate ≥90%
Anti-mildew level Level 1
5.12 Water tank capacity
The measured value shall be no less than 95% of the nominal value.
6 Test Method
6.1 Test conditions
6.1.1 Test environmental conditions
6.1.1.1 The environmentfor rated output of humidity test shall be in accordance with those specified in Annex B.
6.1.1.2Environmental conditions for other tests shall comply with the specific test requirements.
6.1.1.3Thetest water temperature shall comply with the specific test requirements.
6.1.2 Test water sample
The test water sample shall be prepared according to the product instructions; if such requirement is not available in the product instructions, the sample shall be prepared according to the method specified in GB/T 23119, and the total hardness of water shall be (1.50±0.20) mmol/L (Ca2+/Mg2+).
6.2 Instrument conditions
6.2.1 The relative uncertainty of electric instrument used for type inspection shall not be higher than 1.0%, and that used for delivery inspection shall not be higher than 2.0%.
6.2.2 The uncertainty of the thermometer shall not be higher than 0.5℃.
6.2.3 The relative uncertainty of timekeeping instruments shall not be greater than 0.5%.
6.2.4 The weighing machine is in unit of kilogram (g) with relative uncertainty no higher than 1.0%.
6.2.5 The water meter is in unit of L with uncertainty no higher than 0.1L.
6.2.6 The uncertainty of hygrometer shall not be higher than 2%RH.
6.3 Safety inspection items
The safety inspection items shall be inspected according to GB 4706.1 and GB 4706.48.
6.4 Appearance quality
Visually inspect to see whether it meets the requirements of clause 5.4.
6.5 Output of humidity
It shall be inspected according to the method specified in Annex B.
6.6 Efficiency of humidity
The input power W is measured when the humidifier is operated at the maximum humidification operation gear under rated operating conditions.
The efficiency of humidity is calculated with Formula (1):
(1)
Where,
η——the efficiency of humidity, mL/h/W;
Q——the measured value of output of humidity, mL/h;
W——the measured input power, W.
6.7 Noise test
It shall be carried out according to the method specified in Annex C.
6.8 Water softener and water level protection
6.8.1 The humidifier with water softener shall be tested in accordance with the method specified in Annex D.
6.8.2 Operate the humidifier according to the instructions and check whether the water level protection function is effective and reliable.
6.9 Durability
Operate the humidifier continuously under a non-forced convection environment with the temperature of (25±5)℃ and relative humidity not higher than 60%. The test water specified in 6.1.2 shall be adopted for the test.
First measure initial output of humidity under normal operating conditions, then operate the humidifier continuously at the highest gear; when the accumulated operating time reaches the corresponding value specified in Table 3, stop the test and measure the output of humidity. The test is valid if the output of humidity is greater than 50% of the initial value.
After the above test, the water level protection function shall work normally.
Note 1: During the test, the components shall be cleaned or replaced regularly according to the operating instructions.
Note 2: The evaporator of evaporative humidifier shall be replaced every 500h.
Note 3: The ultrasonic generator of ultrasonic humidifier may be replaced once.
Note 4: When the accumulated time is reached, the humidifier shall be cleaned according to the instructions before the test of output of humidity is carried out.
