This document is applicable to the production, inspection and sale of household and similar use humidifiers. This document is also applicable to the evaluation of the humidification function of multi-functional combination units in which the humidification function can be turned on independently. The evaluation of the humidification function of multi-functional combination units in which the humidification function cannot be turned on independently shall be carried out with reference to this document. Note: Includes centrifugal humidifiers that throw water into fine particles by centrifugal force and disperse them into the air. 3.1.3 electrical heating humidifier A humidifier that vaporises water by electrical heating to generate steam.
