1 Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the test methods for the thermal stability of unused heat transfer fluids, including those whose maximum service temperature under atmospheric pressure is higher than its boiling point.
1.2 This standard does not make any assessment on the applicability of organic silicon type heat transfer fluids.
1.3 This standard involves some dangerous substances, operations and equipment, but doesn't purport to propose suggestions for all related safety concerns. Therefore, proper safety and protection measures as well as applicability controlled by relevant rules shall be established and determined before the use of this standard.
