Cellophane used for food packaging
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cellophane used for food packaging (hereafter referred to as “cellophane for food”).
This standard is applicable to the cellophane used for transparent packaging of medicines, foods and other commodities.

3 Classification
3.1 Cellophane for food may be classified into moisture-proof and non-moisture-proof cellophane.
3.2 Cellophane for food may be classified into roll and sheet.
3.3 Cellophane for food may be classified into first-grade product and acceptable product.
4 Requirements
4.1 Technical indexes of non-moisture-proof cellophane for food shall meet those specified in Table 1 or the contract requirements, and for moisture-proof shall meet those specified in Table 2 or the contract requirements.

3 Classification
3.1 Cellophane for food may be classified into moisture-proof and non-moisture-proof cellophane.
