3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
standard test status
operating status of motor when its suction port is open, and there are no obstacles and drastic airflow change within 20cm around the motor
3.2
standard ambient testing conditions
conditions of ambient temperature of 20±5℃, relative humidity of 60%~70% and air pressure of 86~106kPa
3.3
rated operation
operation of motor under the standard test status and standard ambient testing conditions at the rated voltage and frequency
3.4
no-load operation
operation of motor with the suction port fully closed under the standard ambient testing conditions
3.5
rated input power
nominal value of the input power of the motor under rated operating conditions
3.6
suction power
energy of the airflow sucked by motor in unit time
3.7
efficiency
ratio of suction power to input power of the motor at rated voltage and frequency, expressed as a percentage
3.8
wet and dry dual-use motor
motor with fan airflow separated from armature cooling airflow
3.9
normal load
load when the measured input power is Pm after suction port adjustment when the motor has operated continuously for 20s at the rated voltage
Pm is calculated using the following equation:
