——Potentiometric titration is added to determine cobalt content (see 6.3.1);
——The determination methods of nickel, zinc, copper, cadmium, manganese, calcium, magnesium, iron and chromium have been changed (see 6.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8 of the 2011 edition)—— The determination methods of aluminum content, silicon content and lithium content are added (see 6.4);
——The determination method of sodium content is added (see 6.6);
——The determination method of magnetic foreign matter content is added (see 6.11);
——The indicators and determination methods of mercury are deleted (see 4.2 and 5.9 of the 2011 edition);
——The indicators and determination methods of pH are deleted (see 4.2 and 5.14 of the 2011 edition).

6.1 General provisions
The reagents and water used in this document refer to analytical reagent and Grade III water specified in GB/T 6682-2008, unless other requirements are specified. The standard titration solution, impurity standard solution, preparation and product used in the test shall be prepared according to HG/T 3696.1, HG/T 3696.2 and HG/T 3696,3 unless otherwise specified.
6.2 Appearance discrimination
Under natural light, determine the appearance of the sample by visual method on a watch glass or white porcelain plate on a white substrate.
6.3 Determination of cobalt content
6.3.1 Potentiometric titration (arbitration method)
6.3.1.1 Principle
In ammonia solution, Co (II) is oxidized to Co (III) with potassium ferricyanide, and the excess potassium ferricyanide is titrated with Co (II) standard titration solution. The reaction equation is as follows.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 All indicators specified in this document are ex-factory inspection items, which shall be inspected batch by batch.
7.2 Refined sulfuric acid drills of the same grade produced by the production enterprise with the same materials and basically the same production conditions and continuously or by the same team are a batch. Each batch of products shall not exceed 60 t.
7.3 Determine the number of sampling units according to the provisions of GB/T 6678. When sampling, insert the sampler vertically from the center of the bag to 3/4 of the depth of the material layer for sampling. Mix the collected samples and reduce them to not less than 1500 g by quartering. Divide the samples into two clean and dry containers, seal them and affix labels, indicating the name of the manufacturer, product name, grade, batch number, sampling date and name of the sampler. One is for inspection and the other is kept for future reference. The storage time is determined according to the needs of the manufacturer.
7.4 If any index of the inspection result does not meet the requirements of this document, it shall be re-sampled from twice the quantity of the package for re-inspection. Even if only one index of the re-inspection result does not meet the requirements of this document, the whole batch of products will be unqualified.
7.5 The rounding value comparison method specified in GB/T 8170 is used to determine whether the inspection results conform to this document.
8 Signs and labels
8.1 The refined cobalt sulfate packaging bag shall have firm and clear marks, including the manufacturer's name, address, product name, grade, net content, batch number or production date, shelf life, number of this document and the "rain proof" and "sun proof" signs specified in GB/T 191-2008.
8.2 Each batch of refined cobalt sulfate products leaving the factory shall be attached with a quality certificate, including the manufacturer's name, address, product name, grade, net content, batch number or production date, shelf life and the document number.
9 Packaging, transportation and storage
9.1 Refined sulfuric acid drill products are packaged in double layers, with polyethylene plastic film bags for inner packaging and plastic woven bags for outer packaging. The inner bag of the package shall be sealed with Vinylon rope or other ropes of equivalent quality, or with other equivalent methods. The outer bag is sewn with a sewing machine, which is firm without leakage or jumper. The net content of each bag is 25 kg, which can also be packaged according to the specifications required by users.
9.2 The refined sulfuric acid drill shall be protected from rain, heat and moisture during transportation.
9.3 Refined sulfuric acid drill shall be stored in a ventilated, cool and dry warehouse to prevent rain and moisture. It should not be mixed with acids.
9.4 The shelf life of refined cobalt sulfate shall not be less than 12 months from the date of production under the conditions of packaging, transportation and storage specified in this document.
