1 Scope
This part specifies the method for determining the free and hydrolyzed formaldehyde content or the released formaldehyde content of textiles by adopting the high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detector (HPLC/UVD)/diode array detector (HPLC/DAD).
This part is applicable to any kinds of textiles.
This part is applicable to textiles with formaldehyde content between 5mg/kg and 1,000mg/kg, and especially applicable to samples with dark extract.
