1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, designation method for specifications marks and additional marks, specifications, dimensions, pneumatic pressures, loads and rims of motorcycle tyres.
This standard is applicable to new pneumatic tyres of motorcycles.
2 Normative References
The following documents are indispensable for application of this standard. For dated reference, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions and those established in GB/T 6326 apply.
3.1
centrifugal radius
the permissible maximum dynamic radius for grown high-speed motorcycle tyre under the action of centrifugal force when travelling at its maximum speed, which is related to vehicle's maximum speed and is used as reference for tyre clearance design for corresponding high-speed motorcycle
3.2
rolling radius
the value of motorcycle tyre's rolling circumference divided by 2π, which is used as reference for tyre selective assembly or vehicle design and adjustment
Note: the rolling circumference refers to the distance covered by tyre when rolling one whole circle under specified conditions.
