GB/T 30126-2013 Textiles - Testing and evaluation for anti-mosquitoes properties
1 Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the mosquitoes properties of textiles using the repellent method and the forced contact method, and provides an evaluation method of anti-mosquitoes properties.
This standard is applicable to textiles such as woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and non-woven fabrics.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
anti-mosquitoes properties
properties that a product possesses such as knockdown, killing, and repellency against mosquitoes and other insects
3.2
control fabric
fabric used for comparing in anti-mosquitoes properties with the sample to be tested
Note 1: It is proven that using standard cotton adjacent fabric for color fastness testing that is treated by high-temperature boiling and distilled water washing is suitable as control fabric.
Note 2: If necessary, fabric made of the same material as the sample but without anti-mosquitoes treatment may be used as control fabric.
4 Safety precautions
This method requires operators' contact with mosquitoes and involves maintaining the conditions for their reproduction. Therefore, the test shall be conducted by trained operators in a designated testing environment.
