3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Food contact materials and articles
Various materials and articles that have or are expected to come into contact with foods or their components are possible to transfer to foods under normal use conditions, including food packaging materials and containers, food processing tools and equipment and catering equipment etc.
3.2
Label of food contact materials and articles
A generic term for words, symbols, numbers, patterns and other description indicating such relevant information as names, quality grades, product quantities, use methods, manufacturers or sellers of the food contact materials and articles.
3.3
Sales packaging
Packaging materials that are delivered to the consumers together with filling food contact materials and articles for sales.
