1 Scope
This standard stipulates classification, code, shape, dimension, permissible variation, technical requirements, test methods, test rules, packing, marking and certification for cold drawn shaped steel tubes.
This standard is applicable to structural simple section shaped steel tubes (steel tube for short) made by carbon construction steel, carbon constructional quality steel and low-alloy high-tensile structural steel.
