GB/T 33824-2017 Aluminum and aluminum alloys plates, sheets and strips for cans and caps of new energy power batteries
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, quality certificate and order (or contract) contents of the aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, sheets and strips for cans and caps of new energy power batteries.
This standard is applicable to aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and sheets (hereinafter referred to as plates and sheets) and aluminum and aluminum alloy strips (hereinafter referred to as strips) for cans and caps of new energy power batteries used in fields such as electric vehicles, electric bicycles, electric energy storage, and communication energy storage.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

abnormal weld pool
weld pool in a weld that has a penetration or width significantly greater than that of a normal weld pool (see Figure 1)

occurrence rate of abnormal weld pools
proportion of the total number of abnormal weld pools to the total number of all weld pools in a 100mm-long weld

4 Requirements
4.1 Product classification
4.1.1 Designation, state, dimension & specification and application
The alloy designation, state, dimension & specification and application of products shall meet the requirements of Table 1. The inner diameter and outer diameter of the strips shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation and be indicated in the order (or contract). Other alloy designations, states and dimensions & specifications required by the purchaser shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation and be indicated in the order (or contract).
