Performance Requirements of Portable LED Luminaires for General Lighting
1 Scope
This standard specifies the performance requirements of portable LED luminaires for general lighting (hereinafter referred to as luminaires).
This standard is applicable to the portable luminaires for general lighting with LED light source.
Luminaires are put into the following types:
Type A - luminaires with the LED modules indicated to be in accordance with IEC 62717;
Type B - luminaires with the LED modules not indicated to be in accordance with IEC 62717;
Type C - luminaires with LED light in accordance with GB/T 31897.1-2015.
The requirements of this standard only involves type test.
This standard does not involve Type C luminaires.
This standard involves neither LED luminaires generating only color light nor luminaires with only OLED (organic LED).
Unless the standard specifies alternative measurement methods or limits, these performance requirements are supplementary to Chapter 1 to Chapter 9 of GB/T 31897.1-2015.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 7000.204, GB/T 9473, GB/T 31897.1-2015 and GB/T 31897.201-2016 and the following apply.

portable LED luminaires
Luminaires that contain one or multiple LED light sources and can be moved from one place to another in normal service condition connected to power supply.
Notes:
1: wall-mounted luminaires with power lines connected to the plugs, which can be fixed to their supports with thumb screws, steel clips or hooks and easily removed from the supports by hand, are considered as portable luminaires.
2: portable LED luminaires for general lighting can be exemplified as table lamps, floor lamps and clip lamps using LED light sources.
4 Classification
Luminaires may be classified into indoor luminaires and outdoor ones according to the service places.
5 Product Information
5.1 In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 4 in GB/T 31897.201-2016.
5.2 The manufacturer or responsible distributor shall provide description of service place and installation mode of luminaires on product data sheets, printed matters, or web pages.
6 General Requirements
6.1 The design and structure of luminaires shall enable them to work safely in normal service, without any danger to people or surrounding environment, and to meet their claimed performance indexes, with reliable function in normal service. Generally, qualification shall be inspected with all specified tests.
6.2 Luminaires shall meet the requirements of GB 7000.204, GB/T 17743, GB 17625.1 and GB/T 18595.
7 Test Conditions
7.1 General test conditions
In accordance with the requirements of 6.1 in GB/T 31897.201-2016.
7.2 Luminaires with the LED modules indicated to be in accordance with IEC 62717 (Type A)
In accordance with the requirements of 6.2 in GB/T 31897.201-2016.
7.3 Luminaires with the LED modules not indicated to be in accordance with IEC 62717 (Type B)
In accordance with the requirements of 6.3 in GB/T 31897.201-2016.
7.4 Performance requirements
