This part is applicable to wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy plates, sheets and strips (hereafter referred to as “plates, sheets and strips”) for general engineering applications.
2 Mechanical Properties
Tensile testing of plates, sheets and strips at ambient temperature shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1. During bending properties testing, the bend radius shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1. Plates, sheets and strips after bending test shall be free from crack on the surface. For the mechanical properties of plates, sheets and strips with a thickness exceed those specified in Table 1, actual measured results shall be accompanied.
