GB/T 41856.1-2022 Non-destructive testing - Industrial endoscopy visual testing - Part 1: Method
1 Scope
This document specifies the principle, environmental requirements, personnel requirements, testing system, testing, result evaluation and testing report for industrial endoscopy (hereinafter referred to as “endoscopy”) visual testing.
It is applicable to the testing and evaluation of the internal surface state and internal structure of metal or non-metal parts and assembly components of industrial products.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 20737 apply.
4 Principle
Endoscopy visual testing uses endoscopy testing system to test and evaluate the positions or internal surfaces that are difficult to be tested by direct visual viewing by optical images or photoelectric converted video images on the premise of not damaging the tested piece or the operation of the in-service equipment. By replacing different endoscopy probes (also known as the endoscopy body), the viewing direction can be changed or the angle of field of view can be improved, then, the imperfection may be clearly, intuitively and effectively found via optical or photoelectric principles. Compare the measured image with the typical atlas to analyze and evaluate the real condition of the tested area or structure.
