Introduction
GB/T42086 is intended to standardize the general requirements and dimensions of flanged joints and is intended to consist of three parts.
--Part 1: 3.5 MPa ~ 35 MPa, DN13 ~ DN127 series. The purpose is to determine the 3.5 MPa ~ 35 MPa pressure class, for four screw fastening split and integral flange clamp type hard and flexible pipe joints (DN13 ~ DN127) flange head, split flange clamp (FCS and FCSM), integral flange clamp (FC and FCM), port and mounting surface of the general requirements and dimensional specifications, as well as with the use of seals and sealing grooves dimensions of the seals and sealing grooves to be used.
--Part 2: 42 MPa, DN13 to DN76 series. The purpose is to determine the general requirements and dimensional specifications for flange heads, split and integral flange clamps (FCS and FCSM), integral flange clamps (FC and FCM), ports and mounting surfaces, as well as the dimensions of seals and sealing grooves for use with 42 MPa pressure class, split and integral flange clamp type hard and flexible pipe joints (DN13 to DN76).
--Part 3: 42 MPa, DN25 to DN80 square series. The purpose is to identify square flanges for the 42 MPa pressure class
(DN25~DN80) and the general requirements and dimensional specifications, as well as the dimensions of the seals and sealing grooves to be used in conjunction with them.
1 Scope
This document specifies for 3.5 MPa ~ 35 MPa, four screw fastening flange clamp type of hard pipe joints and flexible pipe joints (DN13 ~ DN127) flange head, split flange clamp (FCS and FCSM), one piece flange clamp (FC and FCM), oil port and mounting surface of the general requirements and dimensions; also specified with the use of seals and sealing groove requirements and dimensions.
This document applies to connections in hydraulic systems for industrial and commercial products where the use of threaded fittings is not convenient.
Note: This document recommends the use of metric threaded fasteners (type 1) and also provides a method for using the existing imperial threaded fasteners (type 2).
