Introduction
GB/T 42086 is intended to standardize the general requirements and dimensions of flanged joints and is intended to consist of three parts.
--Part 1: 3.5MPa~35MPa, DN13~DN127 series. The purpose is to determine the general requirements and dimensional specifications for 3.5MPa~35MPa pressure class, split and integral flange clamp type hard pipe joints and flexible pipe joints (DN13~DN127) for four screw fastening, split flange clamps (FCS and FCSM), integral flange clamps (FC and FCM), oil ports and mounting surfaces, as well as the sealing rings and sealing grooves used in conjunction dimensions of the seals and sealing grooves to be used.
--Part 2: 42MPa, DN13 to DN76 series. The purpose is to determine the pressure class 42MPa for four-screw fastening of split and one-piece flange clamps.
The purpose is to determine the general requirements and dimensional specifications for flange heads, split flange clamps (FCS and FCSM), integral flange clamps (FC and FCM), oil ports and mounting surfaces, as well as the dimensions of seals and sealing slots for use with 42MPa pressure class, split and integral flange clamp type hard and flexible pipe joints (DN13 to DN76).
--Part 3: 42MPa, DN25 to DN80 square series. The purpose is to determine the square flange for the 42MPa pressure class
(DN25 to DN80) and the dimensions of the seals and sealing grooves to be used with them.
1 Scope
This document specifies the general requirements and dimensions of flange heads, split flange clamps (FCS and FCSM), integral flange clamps (FC and FCM), oil ports and mounting surfaces for 42MPa, four screw fastening flange clamp types for hard pipe joints and flexible pipe joints (DN13~DN76); it also specifies the requirements and dimensions of sealing rings and sealing grooves to be used in conjunction with them.
This document applies to connections in hydraulic systems for industrial and commercial products where the use of threaded fittings is not convenient.
Note: This document recommends the use of metric threaded fasteners (type 1, DN13 to DN76), and also provides a method for using existing imperial threaded fasteners (type 2, DN13 to DN51).
