Regulations for sampling and testing of wool 1 Scope This document specifies the operation procedures and requirements for taking representative quality samples or lot samples from soft and hard sheep wool packages directly or using appropriate tools, the test methods of staple, wool base and fiber diameter, and the requirements for re-inspection and certification. This document is applicable to the sampling process for raw wool production, trading, processing and quality supervision of sheep wool. 2 Normative references The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document.
