Technical specification for corrosion monitoring and testing of steel reinforced concrete
1 Scope
This document specifies the composition, test point distribution, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and operation of the corrosion monitoring and testing system for steel reinforced concrete (hereinafter referred to as the "monitoring and testing system"), and describes the corrosion evaluation methods for steel reinforced concrete.
This document is applicable to the corrosion monitoring and testing, corrosion evaluation, and engineering acceptance of steel reinforcement in steel reinforced concrete structures. It can be used for steel reinforced concrete structures without cathodic protection and those with cathodic protection.

3.1
corrosion of steel reinforced concrete
degradation process of steel reinforcement in concrete structures under environmental action
3.2
self-corrosion potential of steel reinforcement
mixed potential of corrosion cell of steel reinforcement in concrete under the condition of no applied current polarization
3.3

3.6
test point
one or more sensor points buried in a key or representative location within a test area according to the requirements of the testing method
4 General requirements
4.1 Procedures and contents for monitoring and testing
4.1.1 The flow chart of the procedure for corrosion monitoring and testing of steel reinforced concrete is shown in Figure 1.
