3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
intelligent and connected vehicle; ICV
vehicle with functions of environmental perception, intelligent decision-making and automatic control, or interaction with external information, or even collaborative control
Note: As shown in Figure 1, a refers to the intelligent function, b refers to the connected function, and c refers to both intelligent and connected functions. A vehicle with any one of a, b, and c is called an intelligent and connected vehicle. A vehicle that only has the intelligent function is called an intelligent vehicle; a vehicle that only has the connected function is called a connected vehicle.

3.2
automated driving system; ADS
system composed of hardware and software to realize automatic driving functions
Note: The "automated driving system" refers to the driving automation system of level 3 and above specified in GB/T 40429-2021.
3.3
automated driving mode
working status that the automated driving system performs all dynamic driving tasks and controls the driving of the intelligent and connected vehicle
4 Vehicle under test
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 The vehicle under test shall obtain and post or hang a temporary driving vehicle license plate, and should install a vehicle electronic logo that meets the requirements of GB/T 35789.1-2017. The test shall be carried out on the specified road for ICV test.
4.1.2 The vehicle under test shall be marked with "Automated Driving Test" on the body, and all markings on the vehicle shall not affect the perception or obstruct the view of the test driver.
4.1.3 The vehicle under test shall be able to collect and record automated driving data such as vehicle control mode, vehicle position, vehicle speed, acceleration, etc. during the test process, and be able to communicate with the test platform.
4.1.4 The vehicle under test shall be able to collect and record data on abnormal acceleration, deceleration, turning, automated driving system failure, takeover and other test events during the test, and be able to communicate with the test monitoring platform. The test event data records shall include the content of the first 90s and the last 30s of the test event, and the number of records shall not be less than the last 500. See Annex A for the test event data storage format and transmission method.
4.1.5 The vehicle under test shall be equipped with a data port or USB interface that meets the requirements of 4.4.2 in GB 39732-2020, and shall be able to provide data query records of test events in the last 2 calendar days.
