Technical specifications for driving safety test environment for intelligent and connected vehicles - Part 1: Public road 1 Scope This document specifies the requirements for road environment, traffic facilities, traffic control, road lighting, traffic operation, road monitoring and communication, and test guarantee of public roads for intelligent and connected vehicle operation safety test. This document is applicable to the selection, construction and determination of public roads for operation safety test of intelligent and connected vehicles with Level 3 driving automation (conditional automatic driving) and above as specified in GB/T 40429-2021. It may also serve as a reference for the selection, construction and determination of public roads required for demonstration application of intelligent and connected vehicles. 2 Normative references The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document.
