GB/T 45267-2025 Juvenile products - General technical requirements for swimming accessories
1 Scope
This document specifies the general technical requirements for children's plastic swimming caps, swimming eye wear, nose clips and earplugs, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to plastic swimming caps, swimming eye wear, nose clips and earplugs worn by children aged 6-14 years old intended for swimming.
This document does not contain the requirements and test methods for optical properties, anti-fog properties and anti-leakage properties of children's plastic swimming eye wear. This document is not applicable to children's swimming goggles with corrective lenses.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
tensile strength
maximum tensile stress to pull the specimen until it is fractured
3.2
elongation at break
percentage elongation of the specimen at the time of fracture

tearing force
maximum force to tear the specimen
3.4
blocking resistance
property that there is no adhesion between the surfaces of the specimen and other materials under certain test conditions
3.5
swimming eye wear
eye wear designed for swimming, with separate eye cups or sealing rings integrated with the frame but not covering the nostrils

4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance
4.1.1 There shall be no notches, cracks, foreign objects, bubbles, oil stains, perforations, burns, flashings, burrs, etc. The ink shall be uniform, the patterns shall be clear and free of defects, and there shall be no double printing, missing printing, discoloration, or blurring.
4.1.2 The peculiar odor level is ≤ 3.
4.2 Hygiene
The appearance and structure of the product shall be such to facilitate cleaning, unless it or its internals will be damaged after cleaning. The product shall be labeled with suitable cleaning methods. After the product is cleaned according to its characteristics and the cleaning method in the instructions, it shall still meet the requirements of this document.
4.3 Property of plastic swimming caps
4.3.1 Dimensions
The size of the plastic swimming cap (as shown in Figure 1) shall meet one of the following requirements:
a) The bottom width is greater than 140 mm and less than 180 mm;
b) The bottom width is greater than or equal to 180 mm, but the sum of the bottom width and center height is less than 440 mm.

1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance
