1 Scope
This document specifies the inspection, marking, and packing for printed and dyed fabric of cotton, man-made fibres, and blends.
This document is applicable to all types of bleached, dyed, and printed woven fabrics produced from yarns made of cotton, man-made fibres or blends, and blends of cotton, man-made fibres with other fibres.

4 Inspection
4.1 General
4.1.1 The inspection content includes intrinsic quality, appearance quality, length, marking, and packing.
4.1.2 The supplier shall issue a product inspection certificate based on the results of the product quality inspection.
4.1.3 The purchaser shall, within 7 d after receiving the product or within the time agreed by both parties, accept the product based on the sales contract between the supplier and the purchaser or the product standard and notify the supplier of the acceptance result in time. If the supplier fails to reply within 7 d or the time agreed by both parties, the inspection result of the purchaser shall prevail.
4.1.4 If the purchaser, due to constraints, fails to notify the supplier of the acceptance results within 7 d after receiving the product or within the time agreed by both parties, the products shall be accepted based on the supplier's inspection results.
4.2 Sampling method
4.2.1 Products of the same raw material, variety and specifications, process, and production batch number shall be regarded as one inspection batch or batched according to the sales contract.
4.2.2 Samples for intrinsic quality, appearance quality, length, marking, and packing inspection shall be randomly taken from the inspection batch.
4.2.3 A re-inspection shall be conducted by taking the same number of samples from the same batch of products, and the results of the re-inspection shall be considered as the inspection results for that batch.
4.2.4 The sampling plans agreed upon by the supplier and the purchaser, if any, shall be implemented in accordance with the agreement.
4.3 Inspection methods
4.3.1 The inspection shall be conducted in accordance with the corresponding product standards.
4.3.2 The inspection method agreed upon by the supplier and the purchaser, if any, shall be implemented in accordance with the agreement.
4.4 Inspection evaluation
4.4.1 Intrinsic quality
4.4.1.1 Sampling requirements for intrinsic quality inspection: According to the assessment items stipulated by the product standards or sales contract, no fewer than three samples shall be taken per inspection batch, each from different packages, and the samples shall be representative. Each sample shall be sized to meet the requirements of all test items and be cut from a position more than 1 m from the end of the fabric.
4.4.1.2 Determination of results for intrinsic quality: The batch is deemed to be acceptable if the inspection results of each sample meet the requirements of the product standards, and the average of the test results of all the samples shall be taken as the test results of the batch of products (for colour fastness, the lowest grade shall be taken as the test results of the batch of products ).
