The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 8845 apply to this document.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Materials and Heat Treatment
4.1.1 Materials selected for parts shall comply with the technical standards for the corresponding grades. Recommended materials and heat treatment hardness are shown in Table 1. Materials with superior performance to those recommended in Table 1 or similar materials with comparable performance are permitted.
4.1.2 After heat treatment, the hardness of parts shall be uniform. On the same test surface, the fluctuation range of hardness values shall not exceed the provisions specified in Table 2 (or as agreed between the supplier and purchaser), and shall meet the requirements specified on the drawing.
4.1.3 After heat treatment, parts shall be free of cracks, soft spots, decarburization and oxidation spots.
4.2 Dimensional and Geometrical Tolerances
4.2.1 The limit deviations of linear and angular dimensions without individual tolerance indications on drawings shall comply with Class m specified in Clause 5 of GB/T 1804-2000.
4.2.2 The form and position tolerances without individual tolerance indications on drawings shall comply with Class H specified in Clause 5 of GB/T 1184-1996.
4.2.3 Centre holes with unspecified dimensions on drawings shall comply with GB/T 145.
4.2.4 Grinding wheel run-out recesses with unspecified dimensions on drawings shall comply with GB/T 6403.5.
4.2.5 Unspecified chamfer dimensions (C) on drawings shall be 0.5 mm ~ 5 mm.
