This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 4679-2003 Specification of die-casting die components.
The following main editorial and technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 4679-2003:
——The standard name is changed into three sections, namely Diecasting dies - Components - Specifications;
——Normative modifications are made to the content and structure of the standard according to the requirements of the current national standards;
——Three normative references, namely, GB/T 230.1, GB/T 231.1, and GB/T 825, are added;
——Inspection methods are added (see 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4).
This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee 33 on Die and Mould of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 33).
The previous editions of this standard are as follows:
——GB/T 4679-1984 and GB/T 4679-2003.
Diecasting dies - Components - Specifications
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, and marking, packaging and transportation of diecasting die components.
This standard is applicable to diecasting die components.
2 Normative references
The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 145 Center holes
GB/T 230.1 Metallic materials - Rockwell hardness test - Part 1: Test method (scales A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K, N, T)
