This standard specifies the method for determination of amino acid in foods by means of automatic amino acid analyzer.
This standard is applicable to the determination of 16 kinds of amino acids like aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, histidine, lysine and arginine. The minimum detection limit is 10pmol.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of amino acid in foods with low protein content like fruit, vegetable, beverage and starch foods.
