1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is prepared with a view to enhance the quality management of mineral processing equipment installation engineering, carry out uniformly the acceptance of mineral processing equipment installation engineering and guarantee the engineering quality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the installation quality acceptance of ore feeding and drawing equipment, crushing, grinding and sieving equipment, classifying and sorting equipment and dewatering equipment.
1.0.3 The requirements for installation quality as set forth in the engineering technical documents and contract documents adopted in the construction of mineral processing equipment installation engineering shall not be lower than the requirements specified in this code.
1.0.4 In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code, those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation shall be complied with.
2 Basic Requirement
2.0.1 The contractor of mineral processing equipment installation engineering project shall have appropriate construction qualifications, and construction technical standards available at construction site, a sound quality management system, relevant quality control and inspection rules, as well as the construction organization design, construction plan, job design and other technical documents which have been approved by the project technical leader.
2.0.2 Without the design change notice or signed technical certificate from design organization, construction drawings must not be modified.
2.0.3 The measuring instruments that have been metrollogically verified and calibrated must be used for quality inspection and acceptance of mineral processing equipment installation engineering.
2.0.4 The welder performing welding work for mineral processing equipment installation engineering must be qualified by examination and obtain a certificate, and must perform the welding work within the scope for which he is qualified and approved.
2.0.5 The mineral processing equipment installation engineering shall be carried out according to the required procedures, and handover inspection shall be made between the related types of work and records shall be made.The quality of each process within the same discipline shall be controlled in accordance with technical standard for construction.Inspection shall be carried out for each process after completion and records shall be made.It is not allowed to proceed with the next one until previous process has been inspected to be qualified.
2.0.6 Secondary grouting for equipment and other concealed works in mineral processing equipment installation engineering shall be inspected for acceptance by relevant organizations, which shall be informed by the contractor, before concealing, and the inspection shall be documented.
2.0.7 The quality acceptance of the mineral processing equipment installation engineering shall be carried out according to constituent works, divisional works and unit works on the basis of self-inspection by the contractor.The division of divisional works and constituent works should be in accordance with those specified in Table 2.0.7.
2.0.8 The quality acceptance of constituent works shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The inspection of dominant items must be in accordance with quality standard requirements of this code;
2 All the inspection results of general items shall be in accordance with requirements of this code;
3 The quality acceptance records and quality conformance certificate must be complete.
2.0.9 The quality acceptance of divisional works shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 All the constituent works included in the divisional works shall pass the quality acceptance;
2 Quality control data shall be complete;
3 The result of the no-load test run of individual equipment shall be in accordance with requirements.
2.0.10 The quality acceptance of unit works shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The divisional works included in the unit works shall pass the quality acceptance inspection;
2 Quality control data shall be complete;
3 The result of no-load joint commissioning of the equipment shall be in accordance with requirements;
4 The appearance shall pass the quality acceptance.
2.0.11 The appearance inspection items of unit works shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Connecting bolts:nuts and washers shall be complete as designed.Bolt shall not be lower than the nut after being secured, exposed threads shall be damage-free, and the screw-in direction of bolts shall be the same unless otherwise designed for construction reason;
2 Sealing condition:no obvious oil/water/gas leakage;
3 Pipelining:reasonable layout and orderly arrangement;
4 Laying of deadening and thermal insulating materials:even thickness of layer, secure binding and relatively smooth surface;
5 Paint coating:uniform coating, secure binding and relatively smooth surface;
6 Walkway, ladder and rail:firm fixing, and no obvious appearance defects;
7 Weld bead:relatively uniform ripples, with welding slag and spatters roughly removed;
8 Weld cut:no slag at the cut;
9 Finished product protection:the equipment shall be damage-free, with its exposed machining surface well-protected;
10 Civilized construction:well-organized management of construction site and no sundries around the equipment;
Random inspection of the above items shall be made at not less than ten places.
2.0.12 Quality acceptance record for mineral processing equipment installation shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The quality acceptance record for constituent work shall be in accordance with Appendix A hereto;
2 The quality acceptance record for divisional works shall be in accordance with Appendix B hereto;
3 The quality acceptance record for unit works shall be in accordance with Appendix C hereto;
4 The equipment no-load test run record shall be in accordance with Appendix D hereto.
2.0.13 Works that fail to be in accordance with requirements must be repaired or reworked immediately, and shall be accepted again.
2.0.14 Works of which the quality is not in accordance with the requirements and still fail to satisfy the safe use requirements after repair or rework shall not be accepted.
2.0.15 The quality acceptance of mineral processing equipment installation shall be carried out according to the following procedures:
1 The constituent works shall be accepted by the technical leader (foreman)and the quality inspector of the contractor under the organization of the supervising engineer (Owner s project technical leader);
2 The divisional works shall be checked and accepted by the project leader, technical leader and quality leader of the contractor under the organization of the chief supervising engineer (Owner s project technical leader);
3 After the unit works is completed, the contractor shall organize related personnel to carry out unit works inspection and appraisal and submit the acceptance report to the owner;
4 After the owner receives the project acceptance report, the owner s (project) leader shall organize the leaders from the general contractor (including subcontractors), the designer and the supervisor to carry out unit works acceptance;
5 Where a subcontractor is involved in unit works construction, the general contractor shall be responsible for the overall quality of the unit works; the subcontractor shall check and assess the contracted works in the presence of a worker from the general contractor according to the procedures specified herein.After the subcontracted work is completed, the related engineering data shall be submitted to the general contractor.
3 Equipment Foundation, Anchor Bolt and Base Plate
3.1 General Requirement
3.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the installation quality acceptance of mineral processing equipment foundation, anchor bolt and base plate.
3.1.2 Before equipment installation, equipment foundation acceptance inspectionmust be made, and equipment shall not be installed if the foundation fails to pass the required quality acceptance inspection.
3.1.3 Settlement observation shall be carried out for the foundation of the main mineral processing equipment and records shall be made.

3 Equipment Foundation, Anchor Bolt and Base Plate
3.1 General Requirement
3.1.1 This chapter is applicable to the installation quality acceptance of mineral processing equipment foundation, anchor bolt and base plate.
3.1.2 Before equipment installation, equipment foundation acceptance inspectionmust be made, and equipment shall not be installed if the foundation fails to pass the required quality acceptance inspection.
3.1.3 Settlement observation shall be carried out for the foundation of the main mineral processing equipment and records shall be made.
