1 Scope
This document specifies the designations and chemical compositions of wrought nickel and nickel alloys.
This document is applicable to nickel and nickel alloy products produced by pressure processing method and to the ingots and blanks used for them.

4 Designations and chemical compositions
4.1 The designations and chemical compositions of nickels and nickel alloys shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
4.2 In column "Chemical composition (mass fraction)" of Table 1, it refers to matrix element or alloying element if the element content is presented as a range, otherwise, it refers to the minimum limit for Ni+Co and maximum limit for other elements if the element content is presented as a single value. When the Co content is not specified, a Co content of not more than 1.5% is allowed and counted as the Ni content. Elements marked with "-" in Table 1 are not detected unless specifically required.
