1 Overview
1.1 Scope
This standard specifies the types and dimensions as well as technical requirements of terminals for high-voltage apparatus.
This standard is applicable to high-voltage (HV) terminal of high-voltage apparatus in system with indoor and outdoor voltage being 3,000 V or above. However, its application to other equipment is not excluded. No coordination between dimensions and the rated normal current can be given.
This standard is primarily applicable to the following equipment:
——Power transformer (including thereof the terminal of low voltage side);
——Bushing (including wall bushing and bushing used for high-voltage switchgear and transformer);
——High-voltage breaker;
——High-voltage disconnector;
——High voltage load switch;
——High voltage grounding switch;
——By-pass switch;
——High-voltage automatic recloser;
——High-voltage automatic sectionalizer;
——High-voltage fuse;
——High voltage load switch - fuse-combination unit;
——High voltage contactor - fuse-combination unit;
——Metal-enclosed switchgear;
——High-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substation;
——Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS);
——Hybrid gas insulated switchgear (H-GIS);
——Conventional air insulated switchgear (C-AIS);
——Metal-enclosed busbar;
——Cable distribution box;
——Current transformer (excluding its secondary terminal);
——Current-limiting reactor, etc.
This standard is also applicable to the following equipment:
——Grounding switch, power capacitor, arrester and high voltage contactor;
——Transformers other than power transformer (e.g., furnace transformer, rectifier transformer, test transformer, etc.), voltage transformer and shunt reactor;
——High-voltage fuse of protective voltage transformer and power capacitor;
——High-voltage power cable, etc.
