This standard is applicable to Grades A and B hexagon nuts, style 2 with fine pitch thread, with nominal diameter of thread, D, equal to 8 mm~36 mm, and performance grades of 8, 10 and 12. Grade A products are used for nuts with D less than or equal to 16mm; Grade B products are used for nuts with D greater than 16mm.
